This is a time-saving feature that allows you to process selected commissions in the background. Go to:

Commissions > Select commission plans you need to process > Process > Background Process Selected

It also gives a possibility to background process a single plan. Go to:

Commissions > Click Action next to the plan you need to process > Background Process
