Disconnect Owner from Status

The system links the Owner with the latest status. When the owner name in the status is changed, the owner of the opportunity is updated to match the status owner. 



Our new feature, however, allows you to disconnect the owner from  the status. To activate this feature, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Opportunities from the Settings menu
3. Select Settings tab
4. Switch Disconnect Owner from Status to ON




When this feature is active, changing the opportunity owner will not affect the status owner. Similarly, changing the status owner will not affect the opportunity owner.

Please note that commissions are based on status owner, not the opportunity owner.
