How to create a commission based on sales revenue or profit
Amount of compensation paid to a Sale Rep based on the amount of sales generated or an incentive awarded for achieving sales targets:
- REVENUE BASED COMMISSION
a fixed amount on sales achieved or a percentage of the total revenue generated in sales
- PROFIT BASED COMMISSION
a fixed amount commission for sales achieved or a percentage of the total profit generated
- Profit in Commissionly is calculated as the difference between a product cost price and a product sales price in the Products module.
How to Create a 'Revenue or Profit' Based Commission:
- Click on the 'Commissions' from the menu options, go to tab 'Add Commission' and fill in the details then click 'Next'.
- Select the 'Commission Type' (e.g. Per Product / Widget), fill out the required information needed, set a 'Criteria' and click 'Save Commission'.
- Fill in all other necessary details, click 'Save Commission' and process the commission.
