Creating a commission plan requires setting up a target first. This can be achieved by either creating a new target or linking an existing one to the commission plan.
Steps to create a target:
1. Navigate to Targets from the main menu.2. Click on Add Target.
3. Enter the Target Name, select the Target Type from the drop-down list and click Next.
4. Choose the Target Group and Names from the drop down lists and click Next.
5. Set the Target Period and Target Dates, then click Save Target.
Steps to create a commission plan:
1. Navigate to Commissions from the main menu.
2. Select Add Commission.
3. Enter the Commission Name.
4. In the Target section, choose the relevant target from the drop-down list.
5. Set the
Commission Status from the drop-down list.
6. Click on Next to proceed to Step 2.
7. Choose the Commission Type (e.g., Revenue or Profit), Paid Against (e.g., Total Sales Revenue) and Tier Calculation Using (e.g., Deal Value) from the respective drop-down lists.
8. Add commission tiers by specifying the applicable commission rate(s), then click Next to continue to Step 3.
9. If applicable, define commission criteria by selecting Add Criteria Tier, then click Next.
10. On the final step, add any required formulas, then select Save Commission to complete the process.
Following these steps ensures that a commission plan is effectively created.
